Colovore Addresses High Density with Water-Cooled Rack Doors

The growing adoption of power-hungry hardware is driving demand for higher colocation rack densities. This forces data center managers to seek more robust alternatives to air-based cooling systems.

Given the superior cooling efficiencies of liquid versus water, we designed our Silicon Valley colocation facility with a liquid-based cooling system to support high-density deployments and high-performance computing. Data center infrastructure provider Vertiv recently wrote an article highlighting our approach.

Interested in learning how we utilize liquid cooling to deliver 35 kW of power and cooling density in each rack? Click here to read Vertiv’s article.
